Product Overview
Erbium-doped Optical Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) is the important optical relay transmission equipment in the 1550nm optical fiber communication system. Adopt imported high performance Er-doped fiber, low noise pump laser (international famous brand), and perfect designed embedded automatic monitoring system ensures the excellent performance indexes.

Structure
Its housing is made of metal sheet. This module can be mounted or pull out from the rack front.

Internal circuit
Each EDFA module includes input and output optical power detection parts to adjust the laser pump automatically and make the output optical power of EDFA module keep constant. Internal control circuit accurately maintains the output power and temperature of the laser. This module keeps data exchange with CMM status control and display unit by A/D sampling, switching circuit and communication interface circuit.
